Elle Nestico

I am a devoted wife, mamma of five, and a ride-or-die girl’s girl who champions women, craves adventure, and chases big dreams.

My stories philosophize about life, love, and the metaphysical without hitting you over the head, and characters who fumble toward meaning with messy grace, cosmic timing, and a lot of iced lattes.

A true millennial, my wheelhouses are satire, pop-culture references, girls’ nights, travel, and espresso martinis. I am a lover of (almost) all music, though ’90s East Coast rap and 2000’s bangers are my dog-whistles.

But it’s my husband and kids (yes, even the teenagers) that get me through life. When I’m not nose deep in a good book or squirreled away in my office, you can find me carpool karaoke-ing with my plethora of mortified children in tow or snuggling on the couch, binging Survivor and reruns of Midsomer Murders with my better half.

I love watching the pink North Carolina sunsets from my porch in the evenings, and not one day goes by that I miss the apocalyptic northern winters. But even in spite of its dreary cold and snow, hailing from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, I am a tried-and-true Steelers girl for life.

A woman in black winter coat and sunglasses holding a yellow towel above her head at a snowy mountain ski resort.
A family of eight on a sandy beach, sitting and kneeling in a row, smiling at the camera.
Two dogs, a black Labrador and a Golden Retriever, sitting in front of a patriotic blue backdrop with fireworks and American flags. They wear red, white, and blue star and ribbon garlands around their necks.
A group of diverse people forming a heart shape with their hands outdoors.
