I’m a devoted wife, mamma of five, and ride-or-die girl’s girl who champions women, craves adventure, and believes you’re never too old or too busy to chase a big dream.

I write stories about life, love, and the metaphysical, following characters as they fumble toward meaning with messy grace, cosmic timing, and usually an iced latte in hand. My work lives somewhere between heartfelt and irreverent: a little philosophy, a little magic, a lot of love, and plenty of reminders not to take ourselves too seriously.

A true millennial, my wheelhouses include pop culture, girls’ nights, travel, and a well-made espresso martini. I love (almost) all music, but ’90s East Coast rap and early-2000s bangers remain my dog whistles and will always work an obscure pop-culture reference into a conversation whenever the opportunity presents itself.

At the center of everything, though, are my husband and our five kids—yes, even the teenagers. When I’m not nose-deep in a good book or squirreled away writing in my office, you can usually find me performing wildly unrequested carpool karaoke for a vehicle full of mortified children or curled up on the couch with my better half, binging Survivor and reruns of Midsomer Murders.

These days, I call North Carolina home, where I love watching pink sunsets from my porch and remain deeply grateful that I no longer have to survive northern winters. But you can take the girl out of Pittsburgh; you can’t take Pittsburgh out of the girl and will remain a tried-and-true Steelers girl for life.

This little corner of the internet is where all of those pieces come together: books and writing, friendship and womanhood, family and adventure, big dreams, strange little synchronicities, and the beautiful mess of figuring out who we are, and who we still want to become.
